What's Happening In 2012?
We expect 2012 to be a breakthrough year for Harvest Retail Marketing. More and more bicycle dealers are discovering the value of having us a responsive and innovative marketing partner to help drive customer traffic to their stores.
Because business is booming, we are growing as a company and planning exciting new product offerings so we can continue to be an important part of retailers' marketing plans in the coming year.
Expanded Office Space & New Hires
Two big changes are happening right away; we are more than doubling the size of our office space and hiring another new employee.
We just signed an expanded lease for our office. Within 30 days we will occupy the entire southeast corner of our building. The next month will be hectic, with walls coming down and new furniture moving in. This growth had to happen, our office was filling fast and will quickly turn from cozy to cramped with more employees.
We just posted a new job for a full-time project manager. Currently, we are managing an average of 45 marketing projects each week, with major increases in volume when big direct mail projects are happening. With the growth that we are projecting for 2012, we see that we are going to need a full-time person to keep everything on track.

More Email Marketing Clients
As you may have seen in our last email, we recently increased our capacity for email marketing and are looking for 10 more Trek dealers who want best-in-class emails.
We now have a 2-person team 100% dedicated to creating email marketing campaigns, maintaining SmartEtailing websites, and managing social media.
In order to do this work well, we've found that it requires an ongoing relationship with clients. So rather than simply handling the work as it comes in, we are instead looking to solidify partnerships with a limited number of dealers.

Continued Trek Partnership
We are grateful for all of the opportunities that Trek has allowed us in the past, and we look forward to new developments in 2012.
Trek continues to invest in the success of their dealers, and they are particularly focused in helping dealers have successful sale events in 2012.
For 2012, Trek has once again included Harvest Retail Marketing as a preferred partner in those sale events.
For each event, Trek dealers are directed to Harvest for help in developing customized direct mailers. This program was wildly successful last year, with some established dealers achieving up to 800% ROI on their direct mails. As more dealers learn how easy this program is and how well it works, we expect to discover many more new opportunities this year.
Introduction of Custom Catalogs
Over the last 2 years we've talked to dealers and worked with print vendors to develop a custom catalog program that fits the current bicycle retail marketplace.
In the next 60 days we will be rolling out the details for this exciting new program. We had planned on waiting to release the details at the 2012 Trek World. But in the last few months we've been overwhelmed with new requests for custom catalogs. So we are listening to our customers and we're releasing this product sooner than later.
